@93tako oh okay! and it really depends on the context, and who gave to who... if you gave a big order to your company, it would be "to my company" instead of "for my company"... the only way it would be "for" is if it was a favor or something... otherwise, if they gave you a big order, it would still be "from" as in" I recieved a big order from my company before I quite" =D

@93tako that's okay... when you recieve something, "from" shows who you recieved it from
For example:
Let's say that your mom bought you a car for your birthday. You are talking to your friend about it
Friend: You got a car for your birthday?!
You: Yeah
Friend: From who??
You: My mom
In this example, your friend wants to know who bought you the car... you respond with "my mom" or "I got it from my mom" because your mom is the one who bought it for you
Back to the original sentence:
I got a big order from my company
"From" shows who gave you the big order
Other example:
I recieved a present from my friend (My friend gave me a present)
