Como é que se diz isto em Inglês (EUA)? Ok, if I want to tell someone that I’m leaving work at 5, will I say “I get off work” at 5 or “I go off work” at 5?

Usually *get* off (present) or *got* off (past)

Today I get off at 5 but yesterday I got off at 6.

@GregT since “go and get” are both present can I use both then?
