@changkh 「～から」is of course 'from somebody', which means 'I got it from A' here. In English, it should be something like 'take charge of something for somebody' but in Japanese, we use 'from' as a matter of collocation.
きたんです (=きたのです) shows almost the same meaning as きた or きました.
However, きたのですcan add a nuance something like 'that's how I've got it', I guess.

I understood. I always think the one who 預かる is A so having から sounds confusing. The speaker received (something) from A and is keeping it.
For てきたんです refers to up to now right? So full sentence means speaker received something from A and is keeping it till now.

@changkh The subject here is of course 'I', although it isn't linguistically shown.
Aから is of course 'from A,' from which we can clearly see that A is not the subject.
預かってきた is past tense and you could finish the sentence there.
の(ん)です is present tense. Therefore きたのです(きたんです) could show the past and the present. So the whole sentence could mean 'received' and 'is keeping' as well.
From this, I'm not against if you say it refers to 'up to now.'
