At a restaurant or public restroom the conversation would be:

A. Knock, Knock (person knocking)

B. It’s Busy..(person inside restroom)

That’s basically it. There really is no conversation because first you try and open the door. If someone is in there, it’s more likely that the door is locked. Most times they will either say “busy” or not respond at all.

At home it’s a little bit more open because it’s probably a family member or a friend. In both cases the conversation would be like:

A. Knock Knock...who’s in there?

B. I’ll be out in a minute...

A. OMG. Hurry up! (Lol)
