I'm trying to make a continuation of a love story.
Here is the outline.

"A man and a woman fell in love with each other.
So she wrote her phone number on her book and gave it to him.
He really loved her and he wanted to phone her, but unfortunately he had his coat with the book stolen.
A few days later, she went to a restaurant and a waiter came over and asked her if she would share her table with someone else.
She told him that she wouldn't and a man came to your table and said, "excuse me, the waiter said you wouldn't mind sharing."
She looked up, and there the man she loved was again.
They both were astonished to see each others' faces."

And here are sentences of a continuation I made.

"After a moment, he managed to open his mouth, saying, "can I write my telephone number on your book this time?
Then, my coat with a book you give won't be stolen again."

Could you correct it, please?
