Why is my sentence unnatural??
- Inglês (EUA)
Artificial
@Hana333 It's just ungrammatical. You have to use a "continuous" conjugation of "go" here, which is "going". You can't use the infinite "to go".

Um pouco artificial
It's a little unnatural because 'to go' is a verb.
'going to okinawa' functions like a noun, so we would say 'we talked about going to okinawa'
I will translate because I can't explain it well (^^;)
We talked about going to okinawa
沖縄県に行くことについて話した
We talked about to go to okinawa (元々の文)
沖縄県に行くについて話した
------------
going to okinawa (行くこと) is like a noun
to go to okinawa (沖縄県に行く) is a verb
