"I need you to come here" sounds more important and more urgent. "I want you to come here" Is more of a wish or desire and it is not as urgent.

They both have similar meaning but 'need' has a stronger emotion attached to it. They might be used different in different contexts. Eg. I want you to help me with this. I need you to help me with this.

want= simply because you want to; need= something could have happened and you might need help from that specific person, etc.
