Artificial
"where the land is cheaper" or "in which the land is cheaper" would be natural.

maccaさん、thank you for answering my question!
Why ”which” is impossible?
Why ”which” is impossible?
- Inglês (RU)
Artificial
It needs the qualifier 'in' because you're talking about a place. 'Which' on its own is a question word (like どちら) - it's just wrong to use. 'In which' in this context is more like の方が.
- Japonês
I see! When I talk about places, I use 'in which' or 'where'. どうもありがとうございます!
