Mmm what do I think about China? I think the media focuses alot on big cities like Shanghai and Beijing along with air and water pollution, but China does have many beautiful places. I have to be honest and tell you that I don't have a good impression on tourists from China (especially those in tour groups) due to their unruly behaviour. On the other hand, I do have many close friends and colleagues that are really friendly and nice people! :)
It goes without saying that there are many business opportunities in China (i'm working on a few architectural city-scale projects) and so I think I really have to work on my chinese haha.

@tiassa- maybe you should try living in china for just one year as an African/African-american(i.e if you are african/african-american) even as a foreigner, then you'll know that i'm not being rude.

@Dilrovye but most chinese don't think like that. there's no day you'll leave your hostel/apartment going out and on the road that you wont start hearing some side talks about you, jealous people looking at you with disgust, pretenders who seems friendly but end up mocking you. i'm priviledge to understand chinese language, so i understand most of what they say, except their personal dialects. i might as well agree with not every chinese is like that, but MAJORITY of them are like that. i also have chinese friends and only a few of them are honest.
