Yes, I think is one of the main problems with not native Spanish speakers, we roll the "rr" so strong, and we can notice immediately, you can practice the sound saying this:

ri
ro
ru

we'll understand you but just remember that Carro, Perro and Cerro don't mean the same as Caro, Pero y Cero. And this words are of common use.
Keep practicing, many baby children spend 2 or 3 years to get that sound.
