When someone ask you a question with 는데 end of the sentence, it implies kinda complaining about what you did not do something that you were supposed to do. Usually we say 뭐하는데?
ex)
뭐하는데 전화 안받아? What are you doing now but not answering my phone?
Or we also use 는데 in a simple declarative sentence as well, and it also implies that something would happen at the moment or just after the moment.
e.g)
밥 먹는데 엄마가 집에 왔다. When I am having a meal, my mom came back home.
