There are a couple of things that motivate me. To strengthen my memory, and also to be able to communicate with others in their native language when I'm in their country so that I don't have to rely on them and expect them to know English (^^)

At first, I just wanted to challenge myself and see if I was able to learn a new language. As I learned more I realized learning a new language helps you to understand another culture and expand your horizons. It is also useful for traveling and meeting new people.

I really enjoy different cultures. I love mine, but I also love others. The possibility of communicating with so many people in different languages, understand their music, culture, entertainment, I mean just everything about the culture is something that I feel people should not miss out.
