That... kinda sounds like a threat, whereas the original post sounded more like a warning. At least to me.
I don't really see an issue with "food for vultures", though "vulture food" might be better.

It is OK. I understand perfectly but "dead meat" is the natural thing to say instead of "food for vultures". So the complete phrase would be " One false move and you'll be dead meat ".
