I've tried to look for a reason, but "to be accompanied with" doesn't seem to be accepted as right by many people. Rather, "accompanied by" is what you should use.
Not to say that accompanied with is totally wrong.
If any other natives see this, compare:
I was accompanied by my fiancée.
I was accompanied with my fiancée.
Sounds weird, doesn't it?
