Pergunta sobre InglĂȘs (EUA)
Hello there. Apparently "WHICH" cannot be used for "people" But only "things" Instead "WHO" Is used. But in the question "which supermodel turned 18..." how can we use "WHO" Plz? I heard of it in an interview and it's been bothering me ever since. Kindly help me understand it. đđ

I donât know who told you this nonsense â âwhichâ can always be used for people if we are choosing between them, or trying to identify a specific one for a specific reason.
Which Kardashian sister has the most money?
Which of your brothers do you like the best?
No problems.

When âwhichâ begins a relative clause, it usually doesnât refer to a person. However, when it begins a question, it can. Itâs basically like asking âwhich oneâ.
You can probably also ask that question with âwhoâ, but I would need to see all of it to determine how to phrase it.

You would not say:
"The supermodel, which turned 18, is now in Paris."
You would say:
"Which supermodel is in Paris?"
