Work = usually a verb
We work for a salary. I work at Burger King.
But can be a noun
What sort of work do you do? I am a plumber.
Job = usually a noun meaning either your employment position or individual tasks that you do.
I worked hard at at my new job today. I got fired from my old job.
I have three jobs to do before he end of the day.
