Do most people handle the problem without regarding it as a problem? Or Do people handle it, realizing that it is a problem but wishing it were not a problem?

Most people cope with this problem by pretending it doesn't exist.
One of the meanings of "denial" is "not admitting even to oneself that there is a problem".
