When Someone says (A: Nice to meet you.) the proper answer is ( B:Thanks, you too).

The correct one would be “Me too,” since you’re saying that you are also happy to meet them. A lot of people make the mistake of saying “You too,” though—even native speakers. The reason it should be “you too” for the first example is that you’re basically saying “It’s nice to meet you too,” but you’re dropping the first few words because they are implied :)
