Ex 1:
-I don't like milkshake.
-I don't like it either.
Ex 2:
-I don't have any clue.
*-I don't either.
(In these two sentences, either is used in negative sentences instead of "also" or "too"
)
Ex 3:
-We have to escape! There are agents on either side of us!
(In this sentence, either means both.)
Ex 4:
-Which sweater is better?
-Either one is fine.
Ex 5:
-Either person would be ideal for the new position.
(In these 2 sentences, either is used to refer to a choice between two possibilities)
Ex 6:
-My baby's name will be either John or Jack.
("Either- or" is a phrase. It is used to refer to a situation in which there is a choice between two different plans of action, but both together are not possible)

You wanna use either when you have two possible choices.
Example)
*context: deciding where to travel*
Person: Where do you plan to go next summer?
Me: I’m not sure yet either France or Spain.
*context restaurant*
Me: What comes with the fried chicken?
Waiter: It comes with a side of your choice, either mash potatoes or waffles.
As you can see from the examples, when you use either both choices are both valid. You decide on those two choices.
