Both words are synonymous (or similar) to each other.
• However, "usually" is used in terms of time and frequency.
For example: how many times you brush your teeth and at what time? You might respond with:
"I usually brush my teeth at 9 pm."
• On the other hand, "normally" refers to the nature of an event. Where they are mostly happening.
For example: What do you normally do in your spare time? You might say: Normally, I watch TV or read books.
I hope you understand this much. Feel free to ask if you still have any questions!

"Normally" is in relation to "abnormally", and if you say "It's normally placed here", it implies that if it's not normally placed here, then it's probably missing now or someone misplaced it somewhere else.
"Usually" is in relation to "frequency". If you say "It's usually placed here", then it implies that you sometimes would place it somewhere else "on purpose".
But generally speaking, there's not much difference. You may use either phrase as you will, and most people wouldn't have too much question.
