Here are two forms of sentence, which one is right.
Why sth. is A instead of B
Why is sth. A instead of B
For example:
Why her husband is him instead of me?
Why is the paraphrase of the sentence the first answer instead of the second one?(too many ‘thes’?)
Correct me if I’m wrong.

@April_Leigh Why is your car red instead of blue?
Why does he like her instead of me?
Why am I poor instead of rich?
These are correct. Do they answer your question?

Both forms are wrong. It should be
Why is sth. A instead of B?
Why is the paper blue instead of white?
"Why is the paraphrase of the sentence the first answer instead of the second one?"
I don't really understand this question, but it does not have too many "thes".
I think you mean: Why is the correct form of the sentence the first answer instead of the second one?
You got the form of this sentence right, and you used "the" correctly.

@OldGeezer Thank you.
“the paraphrase of the sentence”
What I want to say is another expression of the sentence. They are different but mean the same.
Did I use the word paraphrase wrong?

> Did I use the word paraphrase wrong?
Yes, you used "paraphrase" wrong. We just don't use "paraphrase" that way. We use "paraphrase" when we are repeating something that someone else said, but we are saying it in our own words. For example:
The weatherman said: "A cold front is moving in and temperatures are going to drop overnight into the low forties."
Paraphrase: He said it's going to be cold tomorrow.
> So the first sentence should be "Why is her husband him instead of me?" right?
Yes, this is the right form.

@OldGeezer Thank you so much. 🌹
I was gonna say thanks a bunch or thanks a million. Are these expressions of thanks sarcastic?

Thank you so much. Thanks a bunch. Thanks a million.
These sentences all mean the same thing, and they do not sound sarcastic.
"So much", "a bunch", "a million" are expressions of emphasising your thanks and making it stronger.
You will not tell anyone. You are not going to tell everyone. You will not share this with anyone.
These sentences are different ways of saying the same thing. They are all correct sentences and they mean the same thing. I suppose that technically they could be called paraphrases, but I wouldn't call them that.

@April_Leigh Why is her husband him instead of me?

@April_Leigh both of the sentences are correct, but only the second one is a question. 1) Why sth. is A instead of B sounds like a title of a section of text / speech. So say for example they are a teacher giving a presentation, the speaker will then go on to explain the reason themselves (in other words the meaning is ' the reason it is A instead of B') . You should also use it in a subordinate clause, e.g. ' I don't understand why it is A instead of B' 2) If instead the speaker wanted to ask a question ( get the students to answer) they would use the second form.
