No, "redeem" is when you are getting something new. For example, you could have a piece of paper that says you can get a free ice cream cone. "Reimburse" means that they are giving you something back. Like if you had to pay a fee they could tell you that they'll reimburse you for it.Meaning they would give you back your money.
