Hmmm, I was thinking about it for a while, because it's actually difficult to say what's the best.
So, I give it a try and well... compared to Japan: "There's not a lot of social pressure", means, you can basically live your life the way you want 🤔
Don't want to study? Fine, just absolve a vocational training.
Want to quit your job? Just look for another one.
Don't want to marry? Just enjoy your life the way you want.
This are just a few examples. If you have questions feel free to ask 😊

@Anki thank you for your answer! I understand that German people have more diverse life choices and society allows them than japan. this is great! Japan has just begun today. But the appeal of our society is that it is created by the many rules and the homogeneity people, so I think this challenge will be difficult. Our lives should be designed by ourselves.thank you again🙏

@unagigawa どういたしまして 😊
I always wondered, why it is like that for such a long time. I mean, that high pressure was toxic 5,10 or 20 years ago and nothing has changed?
Young men had bosses, which power harassed them... and are today power harassing the 後輩?
Young women where pressured into marriage and children, to "fulfill their duty as a woman" and now pressure their own daughters the same way?
I... just don't get it.
It's like "Well, I was unhappy, now you have to be unhappy too!" and "That's how it is. しょうがない." 😐
If it is to personal, you don't have to answer, but how was it for your life so far?
Ah, and what's the best thing about Japan?

@Anki I want to write a fun topic first. I think the best thing in Japan is natto. This is the best food in the world for me! I eat this every day and it makes me feel very happy.
...And I know your face after you read this sentence!🤣
My answer is yes, yes, yes.There are some changes, but I think your image is similar to that of Japan today(Many japanese people may disagree). I think so because our roots haven't changed all the time. So I think the same problem will continue into the future.
On the other hand, I would like you to see little changes in Japan. Some people today recognize diversity. The Japanese society's changes are very slow, but the change is continuing. I think Japan is a cracked egg on this problem. We have to wait for the birth of diversity in japanese society.
In my life, the Japanese people and Japanese society used to be scary enemies, but now they are strong allies. In order for them to accept me, I had to accept all of them. But it was also the basis for enjoying life. So I am enjoying my life now.

@unagigawa I'm really glad to hear, that you're enjoying your life 😊
Yeah, small steps forward are still better than no steps at all.
I like the picture with the cracked egg. It's hard for the little bird to open it, but it's totally worth it.
What about my face? Because of the Natto? I never tried it before, but I will. I put basically ever food in my mouth at least once, before I decide to dislike it or not. But I know, a lot of Westerners have mixes feelings about it 😂
Ah, it seems to be a little out of topic, but I wonder how approachable the Japanese are in general.
I plan to visit Japan in a few years (the time depends on how long it will takes me to reach a strong Japanese level). So, even though I plan my first 2 weeks or so with friends, I want to travel later by myself. The thing is: I'm super communicative and always find someone to chat with... and the possibility to not find any person to talk with for a week or two is somewhat stressing me out 😐

@Anki I have known the reaction when I said to foreigners, "I like natto!", So I wrote that.Only a few Koreans told me that I liked it.
If you want to interact with Japanese people, I recommend visiting Osaka and its surroundings. Well, I always recommend foreigners to travel around Osaka🤣 I think they are the most approachable people in japan. But unfortunately, If you don't have strong Japanese ability, people may not have the courage to talk with you. To reassure them, you should remember simple Japanese greetings.
Security is basically good, even if you are a 10 year old girl, you can visit Japan alone.

@unagigawa I learn Japanese as good as I can and will hopefully be able to talk as well as possible.
So, I have to visit Osaka then. I will remember that.
For safety: I feel basically never unsafe, so to travel around alone is fine for me. 😊

@unagigawa
If you’re ill, Germany’s government will pay for it.
If you’re homeless, Germany’s government will help you.
You’re never going to live on the streets or die because u can’t afford an operation or something like that. You’re safe here!

@jjee_oo thank you! It's a very good social system😳 It's not difficult to see the homeless in a big city in Japan
Germane people are paying high taxes?🤔
Germane people are paying high taxes?🤔
- País ou região ALEMANHA
@unagigawa yes! If you earn less than 450€ per month then you don’t have to pay taxes. If it’s over 450€, then you have to pay taxes ( 200-300€). If you earn for example 1.900€, then you will get 1.400/500€. But if you earn over 5.000€ I think, then you don’t have to pay taxes! It’s really difficult!
German words about taxes :
Brutto = the money you earn ( 1.900€ )
Netto= the money you get with taxes ( 1.500€ )

@jjee_oo I did some research on German taxes. It was interesting because the system was different from Japan. I think it's difficult to do the same tax system in japan because our county has 30 million old people (more increase in the future).
"Government helps us" I think this is great. The Japanese government is making efforts to prevent people from visiting hospitals(Because they don't want to subsidize medical expenses)🤣

@unagigawa oh no.. I wanted to live in Korea/Japan for 1-2 years ( while I’m at the uni )...do you know if the Korean government is bad too? And would you recommend me to live there ( for 1-2 years ) ?

@jjee_oo sorry,I'm not sure because I've never been to Korea. However, the two countries are so culturally similar that I think no a big difference.
I think the Korean government is worse than the Japanese government. Because the Japanese government is rich.Today,Japan is the oldest country in the world.But he has many many money it earned when it was young.
If you live in South Korea, cities outside Seoul such as 大邱(대구:Daegu),水原(수원:Suwon), and 大田(대전:Daejeon) may be a good choice. Or 釜山(부산:Busan) may be a good too. I hear that rents are rising because land prices are rising in Seoul. And Seoul is close to North Korea.So I didn't recommend Seoul (but there are many colleges out there😂).

@jjee_oo If you live in Japan, you should decide what you want to experience. Japan is so wide county.you have to fly to visit to distant areas. And there are cultural differences in each region. It is difficult for you to visit many areas in few years.
I recommend 札幌(さっぽろ:Sapporo). Sapporo is a big city in Japan.But a rent is cheap.a price of food is cheap.Seafood is good. And in Japanese cities,I think it resembles the climate of Germany.
