Pergunta sobre Inglês (EUA)
If someone asks me "What time do they start and finish their work?", can I answer "From early morning to late evening"? It's because usually, we have to answer with a specific time, for example "8 o'clock to half past 7". But can I say morning, afternoon, evening stuffs like that? Sorry for my English

If it’s not important to the conversation, yea. If your friend, family or neighbour asks you about it, you can be imprecise and just give them the time of the day. But if clients your boss or idk... the police asks you and they really need to know the hour of the day, that you have to say 8 am till 7,30 pm

@chaengvocado I think "From early morning to late evening" makes sense as an answer, but you could also use exact times.

@chaengvocado if you are serious about language learning.... you are gonna see very soon that what you practice in books and classrooms is very different from reality. you will always have to think about context and common speech, no one is ever gonna talk like they do in those text books, so don’t stress 😅 also good luck on your test !
