Relatively the native Korean numerals change their form depending on their usage, while the Sino-Korean numerals don't change their form.

For an example, when 점(點) means ‘dot’, 한 점, 두 점, 세 점, 네 점... are commonly used, but when 점(點) means ‘point’ in sports, 한 점, 두 점, 석 점, 넉 점... are commonly used. But there's NO rule. It's completely determined by custom. 

When it comes to their usages, sometimes both can be used in same context, but sometimes not by custom. There is NO clear rule. There is just one tendency that a native Korean numeral matches with a native Korean word, a Sino-Korean numeral matches with a Sino-Korean word.

On a side note, there are another native Korean numerals for counting age of livestock like a cow, a horse, and a dog. Since the present day is an industrial society, few people know these words: 하릅, 이릅/두습, 세습/사릅, 나릅, 다습, 여습, 이롭, 여듭, 아습, 열릅.

In addition to this, in the lunar calendar, 보름 means 15th(열닷샛날) and 그믐 means 30th or last day of month. therefore 보름달 means a full moon. 그믐달 means a waning crescent moon.
