Can someone please correct it for me?? :((


A year ago, I applied to a ‘translator’ job at a big company.

At first, they contacted me about the interview and they picked a date.

It was very soon, so I didn’t have much time to prepare.

But everything went fine the day of the
interview and I thought I would get the job.

I was excited because I thought I aced the interview, so I told everyone about it.

But to my surprise, they rejected me because I was a student.

They told me that it was going to be a difficult task for me because I could be translating long texts that take more than one week.

I decided to take their advice and I focused more on my studies and waited until I graduate to get a job.

Finally,I graduated and I worked independently as a translator.

I was self-employed and I had flexible working hours.
