可以看作一种身份认同。以前很多同姓之人聚族而居，一个村基本都是同姓拥有同一个祖先。同姓氏成员间有种归属感。还有一种是对自己家族的认同感，个人认为当下的从母姓或者从父姓的讨论，其实就是一种家族对自己后代成员的争取。不过现在也有很多人不在乎这些的，大概是大家庭模式发生了改变吧。以上是我对姓氏的看法，可以作为参考。
