Both mean the same thing, except the first one is grammatically wrong. 'I'd much like to visit' sounds better, but 'I'd really like to visit' would sound the best in my opinion.
I'd much like to visit Edinburgh.
I'd much like to visit the hot spring near us.
I'd much like to visit the ancient temples.

well, that's a grammar question from a test. My teacher said that the first one is wrong cuz the positiob of “much” will lead to ambiguity. So i would like to figure it out here
