In grocery stores, I usually see 'beef'. But I do hear people say "bison" in some youtube videos. What's the difference here?

Beef refers to the meat of a cow. Veal is the meat of baby cows, calves (calf- singular). A bison is a different animal. It is not the same as a cow.

@yunaong Thanks. I was watching a workout video and that guy was an IFBB pro. He was doing grocery shopping and bought some bison (at least he said so), but I'm pretty sure he got some beef (it was just a common grocery store). Does that make sense?
