Can I say "Let's have a snooze" instead of "Let's take a nap"? If no, how can I use the word "snooze"?
Can I say "Let's have a snooze" instead of "Let's take a nap"? If no, how can I use the word "snooze"?
I teach my daughter English by talking to her in English sometimes. I'd like to know natural expressions. I'd be grateful if you could teach me some.

"Let's have a snooze" sounds unnatural. We understand, but it sounds weird.
Right now, we usually say "snooze" when talking about the snooze button on our alarm clock. I don't use "snooze" outside of that.
I think people used to say "snooze" to mean "nap", but I don't hear that anymore. We just say "nap" now.

You could say "I'm gonna snooze for a while" , but nap is way more common, especially for children.

Here in New Zealand, parents often use that term but not young people. For example, my mother sometimes says "I'm going for a snooze"
