What does the man mean "This place has been out for a good stretch."
Can someone please explain "be out for a good stretch"? Another example would be appreciated.

@melon4dinner Thank you! One more question. Why "good" before stretch of time? Shouldn't it be "long"?
- Inglês (EUA)
@Bunch "Good" can be used to mean "large amount" sometimes.
For example,
"That's a good-sized backpack you're wearing!"
(You're wearing a big backpack!)
"I mowed the lawn for a good twenty minutes!"
(I mowed the lawn for an entire twenty minutes!)
"I've been travelling across the world for a good while now"
(As of now, I've been travelling across the world for a long time)
