Is it strange for a Japanese girl to speak with British accent?
People say I have a very international - mixed accent, every time I see an English native speaker, he/she makes a remark and tries to guess where I studied my English. Each time I'm given different answers! Most often Uk, America, Australia! I actually lived in Canada and France for a year, and then had several British teachers at school. And I listen to BBC for my study. i pick up someone's accent pretty easily. So I'm assuming maybe that's why...but after all I want to stick with one accent now. I personally like British English so I might want to start making efforts to learn it. Any opinions about it? : o btw, I personally love Osakan accent with Japanese by foreigners. :)

I don't really notice subtle accents. Though British English does sound nice. I'm Australian, but being such a multicultural country we have lots of "accents". I think that as long as it sounds natural (natural English) then any accent is good.
