Confidence is usually something you project outwards where self-esteem is more...how you feel about yourself.
You can also have self-confidence, which means you’re confident in yourself and your abilities.
“I am confident in my abilities.”
“I have confidence in you.”
“I am confident this meeting will go well.”
“He’s very confident, flirting with the most beautiful girl here.”
“I need to work on my self-esteem. I wish I loved myself more.”
“She is so confident. She must have great self-esteem.”
