If you are talking about a harsh or hurtful comment, then it would be more natural to call it an acerbic comment or a caustic comment.
Acid is a noun so it can't really be used to describe things. You would change it to acidic, if you wanted to describe something. But you won't hear too many people say that a comment was acidic. It is usually used in science, to talk about food, or about dangerous substances.
