This is nice = this is okay; maybe 5/10 rating
This is delicious = mostly talking about food; more than what you expected! It's beyond great.

"this is so delicious" is used, specifically, for food and drinks.
"this is so nice" is more appropriate for describing a place or an object. Using it to describe a food would sound awkward.
Example:
This burger is so delicious.
This coat is so nice.
