Pergunta sobre Inglês (EUA)
suppose someone (boss, friend, cousin,.. to whom you can not say "no" easily) asks you a personal request that its fulfillment is difficult for you, but you cannot bring yourself to say no, because you feel embarrassed or shy to say no! or just simply don't like them feel offended or hurt, what is the expression or idiom that means "to accept a request in this situation, unwillingly but under your own moral pressure"

There are a number of phrases like this in English, but they can be used for referring to doing any sort of unpleasant task that you have to do. "(To) bite the bullet and (put the action you don't want to do here)" is a good example, and so is "(someone) has/have to grin and bear it."
Examples: I'll have to bite the bullet and do all my homework tonight. (The speaker doesn't want to do their homework, but they have to)
I'll just have to grin and bear it. (The speaker doesn't want to do something, but they have no choice but to endure it)

For example, my boss asks me to stay longer , while I have already another date and cannot stay longer, since he is my boss I can't say no and lose my date!
What is suitable for this example?
When the one with whom I was supposed have date, asks me why "you canceld our date", I want to say" I couldn't refuse my boss, actually ...?

"I didn't have a choice. He's my boss, so I couldn't say no."
But, if you told your boss you had a date planned, there's a chance he might be more flexible.

Or another example: my friend asks me to borrow her my bag, I like that bag a lot, and I don't like to give it to anybody, but I cannot say no, so I give it to her !
When my sister asks me" why did you give it to her? " I say:" I didn't want to hurt her, so I gave it unwillingly, actually ....?

In that case, "I didn't have a choice" would be best.

How about this, for the boss example:
"I was too far inhibited"
"I was too far inhibited"

I'd say no on that one. I've never really heard that.

Sorry, "I was far too inhibited" so I couldn't say no to my boss.

You know what? We have an idiom in Persian that covers all these situations, it literally means" I could not stand against him/her "especially out of shyness, or in fear that he/she is hurt!

Often times, the more specific a word is, the less easily it translates into another language. While I don't know any Persian, Japanese has a ton of words that don't translate well into English.
