I just read this phrase: "you need to suck up to him to get what you want."
But, i don't know, it looks like a bit harsh... or not? Is there other way to say it?

@Grazi77 Sucking up to someone is going out of your way to nice or accommodating to someone in order to get what you want. It’s the nicer way of expressing this, the harsher way is saying “you need to kiss his ass”. The two phrases mean the same thing just one is more harsh.
