Good work :) You can also say, "I stroke the glass with a hammer, but it didn't do any damage."

@Rayud2166 is "to do damage" really that awkward to the point where I need to change it?

Um pouco artificial
No, it’s not super awkward. I am just a big fan of using the fewest number of words whenever I can. Apologies.
I struck the glass with a hammer but it didn’t do any damage to the glass.
This is a fine sentence. 😃
But, to me, swapping in a shorter phrase for “it didn’t do any” looks cleaner and sounds more natural.

Ideally, I would write it as:
I struck the glass with a hammer, but it did no damage.

@Rayud2166 thanks a lot.
the sentence you rephrased made me curious to know the difference btwn "didnt do any xx" and 'did no xx".
eg-
1 it didnt do any damage
2 it did no damage
3 it won't do you any harm.
4 it'll do you no harm
5 I dont have any affection.
6 I have no affection.
7 I dont have any idea.
8 I have no idea.
those choices always put me in a dilenna.
as you chose to rephrase my sentence shorter to make it even cleaner, I think there should be some difference about that too!

The word “any” really emphasizes how little there is of whatever you’re describing.
It did no damage = it did zero damage
It didn’t do any damage = sounds a bit like you are trying to be more persuasive.
Look, I know I spilled a bottle of ink on your bed, but it didn’t leave any damage! There’s not a drop of ink to be seen!

I have no Idea VS I dont have any idea
which one sounds more emphatic then?(when you literally have no clue at all)

Sorry.
In all seriousness, the second sentence sounds more emphatic. Using “any” emphasizes the thing you are describing more strongly than just saying it’s not there.
Like saying I looked everywhere and I cannot find any trace anywhere.
