@luis56: The issue is that 1) linguists still haven't agreed what is a "case" precisely and 2) categorizing Hungarian (an Uralic language) in terms invented for Indo-European languages can be messy because linguists can't agree all the time.
Most of our "cases" are more like English prepositions (to, for, by, over, at, under etc.), except they go as suffixes, agree in form with vowel harmony and sometimes modify the root. (As if we would write "tableon", "houseat", "Johnfor" and so on.)
