Pergunta sobre Inglês (EUA)
I got grammer problems.
when you say "you had better do something" , can I say that's same with "you would do better to do something"? I guess so. but I need someone to clarify it.

"You would do better to do something" is extremely unnatural, I would say "you had better do something"

I can see how it's confusing. To be honest, it may be easier to look at it as a "set phrase" instead of trying to understand it.
"You better do something, quick!"
"You had better do something, quick!"
Both have the same meaning. "had" just adds more emphasis, I suppose.

"You had better do something," sounds more urgent and like a command. This sounds like you are saying the person should find something to do or there will be immediate consequences.
"You would do better to do something," is the same, but it sounds more like a suggestion or a non-direct command. This is like saying it would be better for the person to do something rather than be found standing around, or telling them that their time should be spent more wisely by finding something to do.
