"Don't put a denial form of ない at the end of the sentence if you want your sentence to be negative." soa natural?

@Igirisujin My friend just started studying Japanese and wrote a sentence "私は学校へ行かない" for ”I go to school." So, I explained why she should not use ない in what she is trying to say.
