I Like = broad non-specific statement of general enjoyment
Take Pleasure = Truly enjoy something! The feeling of happiness is more powerful than just "liking" something.

Yes! 😄 Unfortunately, "I take pleasure" is not nearly as common as "I like". But, I, myself, do sometimes use the expression "I take pleasure" but only when something makes me feel very happy and truly satisfied! ☺️ I take pleasure in helping other people better enjoy English!

Hey slyfin, I reviewed questions I asked before. So I'd like to ask one more( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
I'm going to send an email to my friend, is it a fine example for you?
Thank you for staying in my home.
I took pleasure in spending lovely days with you!

"Thank you for staying in my home.
I took pleasure in spending my lovely days with you!" < ✔️
You could also say "the" instead of "my" if you want to sound more matter-of-fact and less emotional. ☺️ But, because you used "took pleasure" and "lovely" the word "my" in this case sounds more natural than a plain "the". I hope that helps you!
