Intrude is like, when someone (or something) forces their way into something when they are not welcomed. For example "He intruded into our conversation", The neighbours apple tree began to intrude into her garden", "The distracting noise intruded her thoughts".
Impose is when you force something onto somebody. It doesnt have to be a person though, for example "The USA imposed a trade embargo on Cuba", "The government imposed new restrictions onto the school". Other examples (of imposing something onto somebody) would include: "The church imposed their religious beliefs onto the public", "She disregarded the rules the company had imposed onto her".
